Privacy
Receiptmark works from receipts you forward. That is the only mail we ever see.
What we receive
Only the email messages you forward to your Receiptmark address. We never connect to your mailbox, and we have no access to anything you don't forward.
What we keep
From each receipt: the merchant, the amount, the currency, the charge date, the plan name, and the subject and sender lines, so we can show you why we think something is a subscription.
We keep the receipt text too
We store the text of the receipts you forward, so that when we improve how receipts are read we can re-read yours and correct what we got wrong, instead of asking you to forward everything again. It is the text only: attachments and the rest of the mail headers are discarded. Deleting your data removes it with everything else.
Processing
To read a receipt we send its text to third-party AI services, which process it and return the structured fields above. We send only the forwarded receipt content needed for extraction. We do not use receipt content for advertising or to train our own models.
Your Receiptmark address
You can use Receiptmark without creating a separate account. The forwarding address is an identifier that connects the receipts you send with your ledger. It is stored on this device and on our servers, and should be kept private.
Aggregate statistics
We track which cancellation routes work so the instructions improve. Those records use a salted one-way identifier and do not contain your forwarding address or receipt content.
Deletion
Delete everything at any time from Settings, or by emailing the address below. Deletion removes your subscriptions, charges, receipt text and forwarding address. It is immediate and not recoverable.
What we never do
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We do not show ads. We do not ask for bank credentials, and Receiptmark has no way to connect to a bank account.
